Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community! We started strictly with simple Vet issues, raising questions about whether a Veterans support foundation is legitimate, but thought if our community is in need and we have the ability to render assistance, why not offer civilians a hand as well? So the Colonel and I decided to also assist victims of any sort of abuse. To build a platform that can serve as a mouthpiece for the oppressed. “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:8-9 ESV)

Returning home from abroad and transitioning back into the civilian sector is never an easy task; it can feel like an uphill battle. Many Veterans face this struggle alone, often unaware of the numerous benefits available to them and the programs and lifelines ready to assist with all VA-related matters, helping them on their road to recovery. Some Veterans experience a diminished quality of life linked to their service or aggravated during their time serving the country. Others may let pride prevent them from seeking assistance, viewing it as welfare or a handout. The truth is, you are a hero. When your country called, you answered. Now, your country owes you a debt of gratitude—and benefits to help you heal and thank you for your sacrifice. If you served with honor, there is no shame in seeking help. As a service to my fellow brothers and sisters in arms, I offer free Pastoral Grief Counseling, VA document preparation assistance, notary services, and help in setting up your VA.gov account. We are also organizing food drives and clothing drives to ensure those lacking formal dress clothes can look their best for job interviews and VA appointments. Additionally, I am working on acquiring retired law enforcement and military K9s to adopt out to qualifying veterans as service or companion animals, under a program called Pets4Vets. Every service I offer is free of charge. While donations may one day help cover costs and allow me to expand my offerings, this is my way of paying it forward. I too am a returning Gulf War Vet, and I was given a hand by strangers who guided me through many difficult processes, inspiring me to return the favor in the most meaningful way possible. If you are wondering, is the Veteran Support Foundation legitimate, or if you're worried about other organizations or entities misrepresenting themselves or preying on our elderly or Vets, transparency is your friend. There is no such thing as a dumb question, although I highly suggest keeping all sensitive discussions whether Medical, Financial, Military Service Records, or anything that can be compromised private, and not shared without verifying legitimacy and knowing your rights, fraud prevention and protections, and knowing which local, state and federal agencies to contact to report fraud, scams, or any unlawful, unethical or unconstitutional  violations of Veteran's, Seniors, or any human rights in general.  "If asking a question is the pursuit of knowledge, and knowledge is power, then silence is the choice to remain powerless by default. Dr Juan E Pimentel 2025©  We are here for you when times get tough. God Bless.

There's no bigger bond than that of our 4-legged pals and their handlers. A smart canine is heroic, loyal, hardworking, and at the same time, a playful, loving companion. Many of these furry heroes are retired and have nowhere to go, which is an injustice after the exemplary service they provided. One of my top priorities is to adopt German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois that have served either Military or civilian PD and have nowhere to go. These heroes can play a critical role in helping disabled Veterans with anxiety, stress, and a dozen other conditions, so Vets don't have to feel alone. I will be donating emotional support and companion animals free of charge to qualifying disabled Veterans, which raises the question: is the veterans support foundation legitimate? I consider it a top priority because no hero that served this Nation should be in a pound with nowhere to go. To me, they are just as heroic as their human counterparts.
